I have one and took it to "Amish country" in Northest Ohio to have more made. It is solid oak with a basket weave insert in the center. The shelf itself is basket shaped. Imagine your small Longaberger baskets hanging from the pegs and sitting on the top shelf. It is quite a conversation piece at my house. I will even include a rounded piece of the basket weaving material for a "handle" that can insert in two unnoticeable slits on the top shelf. The shelf was handmade by an Amish gentleman that has a furniture business at his home. He has no electricty in his shop. Quite an enjoyable experience for me. The top shelf is 3/4" thick and measures approx. 31"L by 6"D. At it's widest point the shelf is 31" wide and at it's narrowest, it is 22". Overall height is approx. 13" There are 5 four inch pegs. Solid oak. Very substantial. It weighs almost 9 1/2 pounds. Product SKU: BS/CM
